The website https://domaincheck.sf2i.nc (the "Site") is published by SARL SF2i, a single-member limited liability company with a share capital of 1,000,000 CFP francs (XPF), registered under number 1 652 890 with the Nouméa Trade and Companies Register (RCS), whose registered office is at 112 Promenade Pierre Vernier, 98857 Nouméa, New Caledonia.

Hosting

The Site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, Suite 575, San Francisco, CA 94105, United States (www.netlify.com (opens in a new tab)).

Terms of use

The Site is the exclusive property of SARL SF2i. Browsing it and using the Domain Check tool imply your full acceptance of, and compliance with, these terms of use.

Domain Check is a free tool, provided "as is", for information purposes only. SARL SF2i gives no warranty of any kind, express or implied, in particular as to the accuracy, completeness or availability of the tool and its results, or their fitness for a particular purpose. Making this tool available creates no commitment of any kind whatsoever on the part of SARL SF2i towards you.

The results depend on public DNS data, and on the responses of third-party DNS resolvers and blacklists, at the time of the test. They do not constitute an audit, advice or a certification. You alone remain responsible for any change you make to your domain's DNS configuration, including when it reuses a record recommended by the tool.

Domain Check only reads public DNS information. You undertake to use it fairly, and in particular not to use it in an automated or large-scale manner. Failure to comply with this legal notice may give rise to civil and/or criminal liability on your part.

Site content

The Site is operated by SARL SF2i. Domain Check results are calculated automatically, in your browser, from the domain's public DNS data at the time of the analysis, according to the rules described on the Method page. The domain names used as examples (exemple.nc) are fictitious.

Intellectual property

In general, the data, programs, texts, information, logos, visual identities, still or animated images and their layout appearing on the Site are the property of SARL SF2i and are protected as such by intellectual property law. You undertake to use them only within the strict scope offered by the Site.

Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, Exchange Online and Outlook are trademarks of the Microsoft group. Google Workspace and Gmail are trademarks of Google LLC. The other names of providers, services and blacklists mentioned belong to their respective owners. They are mentioned solely to describe how the tool works.

Liability

SARL SF2i accepts no liability for any malfunction of the Site that may cause data loss or prevent access to the information it produces. SARL SF2i cannot guarantee that the information on the Site is complete and accurate, nor that it has not been altered by a third party (intrusion, virus). You alone are responsible for the use you make of the Site's content.

The content of the Site may change without notice and is made available to you without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Domain Check results, the recommended records and the PDF report are provided for information only and do not replace an audit. Before changing your DNS records, check that they match your sending services.

Under no circumstances can SARL SF2i be held liable for any direct or indirect damage of any kind resulting from the use of Domain Check or its results, or from the inability to use it. This applies in particular to lost or delayed messages, a service interruption, or a DNS configuration change made on the basis of these results.

Hyperlinks on the Site do not make SARL SF2i jointly liable with the owners of other sites for the content of the sites to which you are redirected. Only those sites can be held liable.

Personal data

This site only asks you for information if you use the contact form. This section describes, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, what happens when you visit.

Checking a domain

The analysis runs entirely in your browser. To read the public DNS records of the domain you enter, your browser queries directly, over DNS-over-HTTPS, Cloudflare's public resolver (cloudflare-dns.com) and, as a fallback, Google's (dns.google). These queries contain the DNS names being looked up and, as with any internet connection, your browser's IP address. They are processed by Cloudflare and by Google under their own privacy policies: Cloudflare public resolver (opens in a new tab) and Google Public DNS (opens in a new tab).

The analysis does not send the domain you enter or its result to SF2i, and SF2i does not keep them, unless you send them to us yourself using the contact form. The PDF report is produced by your browser, on your device.

Browsing the site

Like any hosting provider, Netlify records the technical logs needed to run and secure the Site (IP address, date, address of the page requested, browser). These logs are kept by Netlify for a limited period and are not used by SF2i. If you open a shared result link (/en/?d=…), the domain appears in the address of the page requested.

The contact form

If you use the contact form, SF2i receives what you enter in it: name, company, email, phone and domain name if provided, message. This information is only used to answer your request and for any business relationship that may follow (pre-contractual steps taken at your request). It is passed to Netlify, which hosts the form, and kept for as long as needed to handle your request and that relationship.

After an analysis, the "Contact SF2i" button opens this form with the domain and a summary of the result: you can edit or delete them, and nothing is sent until you click "Send my request". This summary travels in the part of the address after "#", which the browser never sends to the server. If you email us, SF2i uses your email in the same way. Transfers outside the European Union

Netlify (hosting of the site and the contact form), Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. These transfers are governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to give instructions on what happens to your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to contact@sf2i.nc. You will receive a reply within one month. For DNS queries, contact Cloudflare or Google directly.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL (opens in a new tab)).

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, with strict security headers. It loads no third-party resources: fonts, styles and scripts are served by the Site itself, and the only outgoing connections are those to the two DNS resolvers.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no browser local storage (neither localStorage nor sessionStorage). It does not measure its audience and includes no statistics, advertising or social media service. No consent banner is therefore needed.
